Almost 6 years ago, I decided to turn my life around completely. I left my steady office job behind and chose to give my idea, my dream, a real chance.
It wasn't an easy decision. Letting go of all that security meant launching my own jewellery brand with a racing heart and a lot of uncertainty. But looking back, I'm so glad I took that step. I work harder than ever, but it feels different now. I draw so much energy from every part of running a business and creating new pieces, but what motivates me most is your reactions and gratitude. Making you smile, moving you with a personal piece of jewellery — that's what gets me up every morning.
Since then, gftd. jewelry has come a long way. In 2022, I won the Livia Jong Geweld award from Unizo Limburg, a recognition that meant the world to me.

In 2025, I was nominated as one of the most inspiring female entrepreneurs in Limburg. When that call came in, I was genuinely moved. Because I pour everything I have into this work.
